The West Dakota Chevy Dealers and Heartland Chevy Dealers of North Dakota and western Minnesota have teamed up for the second annual Chevy Scholar scholarship program for high school students in our area. Four winners, selected for scholastic achievement and community participation, are receiving $5,000 college scholarships.

Mom Elizabeth Fick, Cassandra Fick, Dad Dennis Fick, and Jerry Perkins, owner, at Perkins Inc. in Valley City, ND. Cassandra is senior at Litchville-Marion High School, Marion, ND.

Austin Mack with Christian Kostelecky at Sax Motor Co. in Dickinson, ND. Austin is a junior at Dickinson High School.

Jeff Wahl, general sales manager, Brandon Swanson, and Renard Bergstrom, owner, at Lake Motor Co. in Devils Lake, ND. Brandon is a senior at Devils Lake High School.

After narrowing the applicants down to ten finalists, the dealers decided to recognize the other finalists with $500 awards to help them further their education. A nominator from Bismarck was chosen at random to receive the $500 nominator prize.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Chevy Scholar contest as nominators, entrants, finalists and voters. We truly have some outstanding students in our area and it's great to see their families, friends and communities giving them recognition and support.
